Recently I have experienced a very slow browsing on Yahoo and Gmail. I was clue less what was causing it so. And particularly only Firefox was having that problem.

Rest other browsers like Opera, Ie8, Chrome where all doing fine.

I just checked the add-ons of Firefox to make sure what causing it. There in I saw my “Ad block Plus” and new “Skype extension for Firefox”

I immediately uninstalled the add-on and Firefox was good to go for gmail and yahoo browsing.

So if you guys just installed the skype 4 which by default install its extension for Firefox, then you might wanna remove it for your mail service to work.

To uninstall this extension got to

Tools >> Addons >> Extensions (in Firefox)

And then click Uninstall

Now restart your browser and you will be good to go.
